I first noticed Matthew Forsyth's work on an illustrator page. Upon more research, I discovered that he was the artist for Cartoon Network's popular TV show, Adventure Time. Forsyth classifies himself as an illustrator and comic book artist. After viewing his portfolio I was impressed by the span of his talent work can be bright and absurd or even soft and moving. He is obviously a very intentional artist, and many of his pictures play of different social and political issues.
Forsyth is also a digital artist, and much of his work is drawn in on a tablet. I am inspired by this and also in the way that he maintains his unique style although his art is geared towards children as well as adults. He somehow spans the age gap with entertaining characters and drawings that are not limited to a one specific group.
