ARTIST NUMBA TEN: Kali Ceisemier

Kali Ciesemier is a freelance artist and illustrator from Maryland. She has worked for many high end clients such as The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, Harper Collins, and The New York times. Her style can be described as whimsical and eye-catching, with bold colors and carefully stylized figures in delicately detailed scenes.I chose this artist because not only do I like the style of her work (especially her people's faces), but she also works a lot on a digital tablet which is how I plan on creating my pieces. It is a new and innovating medium and it is inspiring to see another successful artist who has used this field and I am excited to follow her work.
